Fridays Live crew members, past and present, were saddened to learn of the tragic death of former writer and performer Steve Parish, who was killed on March 22nd in New York City.
Steve joined the show in its 3rd season as a writer and sketch actor.
Former Executive Producer Zac Ross was close with Parish during his time on the show. “Steve and I were both staff writers on the show and wrote several sketches together. He was a great, funny guy, and he was a lot of fun to watch perform.”
Steve graduated Ohio University in 2007. He was a second year New York City Teaching Fellow who was finishing his Master’s degree at the School of Education at Pace University.
A memorial service will be held in New York on Saturday May 30th on the Pace University campus.
